Bharat Srinivas has been working for a quarter century, starting after his undergraduate degree in business management from the Mysore University, Karnataka, India, in 1996. Since then, he has worked formally and informally in marketing, customer relations management, teaching, training and, predominantly in skills development training. He has worked in India, the United Kingdom and Australia. He was a marketer and relations management senior executive from the year 2000 and eventually was the head of operations and marketing in an INR (Indian rupees) 180 million group of companies.
Since 2004, he has been training and consulting on skills development, communication management, self-development, personality-development and student development. He has trained around 3000 students and executives in various genres of skills and competencies. He was a respected trainer under the federal Indian Government’s skills development & training initiative the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana around 5 years ago.
Bharat’s special interest is development of skills for effectiveness and success at employment, at education and in building careers. He is a specialist in career consulting and development, self-assessment and development.
Bharat has authored Three book. The first one, released in 2014, was an initiation into employment skills and the 2nd, titled The FREAK, is an English comedy released in 2020. Third book "12 Skills for Employability - Excel in your Job, Career and Beyond" will be released soon.
Bharat has a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from St. Joseph’s college of business administration (the name then), Bangalore, India, 2004. He has a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Communications from the Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, West Yorkshire, the United Kingdom, 2011. He completed his master’s degree in business administration, specializing in human resource management from the Kelce college of Business, at the Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas state, U.S.A. in 2022.
Bharat is a keen Badminton player having played at the university levels in India and the United Kingdom and at the club level in Australia.
Bharat was a motorcycle rallyist and race driver in cars and has also organized rallies and races in Karnataka state, India. For a short period, he was also into event management.
